Eric 'Tooch' Santucci is an Adelaide-born musician with an ambition
to become a household name.
First and foremost, he is an outstanding vocalist and trumpet player, but he can also be found playing guitar on solo and duo performances.
"I started taking trumpet lessons when I was 5 years old. My father used to play trumpet and from a young age I was able to produce a really clear tone."
"My idea is to strengthen the live music scene in Adelaide and build a solid bridge between the general public and musicians."
So far, Eric's resume includes numerous popular bands, including The Revue, Proton Pill, J.D. & The Hustle, The Belle-Phonics, The Ross Irwin Invitational All Star Big Band (AUS), The Adelaide University Big Band, Salcedo, The Cast and The Baker Boys.
Eric has proudly played alongside Ross Wilson, Don Burrows, Don Rader, James Morrison, John Morrison, Dale Barlow, Emma Pask, Wycliffe Gordon, Rex Richardson, Adam Rapa, James Muller, Mike Stewart, Bruce Hancock, Dustan Cox, Mark Ferguson and Jon Hunt.
Eric loves listening to Soul (Al Green, Otis Redding, Ben L’Oncle Soul), Funk (Tower of Power, James Brown, Earth Wind and Fire) and Blues music (Freddie King, BB King, John Mayer).
When he is not busy on the band stand, you can probably find Eric at other live music gigs, writing songs or having coffee with friends
Or a stiff Gin and Tonic. There is always room for one of those!
